There should be high school esport teams.

I wonder if there are any schools or any people interested in this or have tried to start this. I understand schools are against video games but the debate that video games are violent or an addiction with esports could be said with the same as sports like football. Things can get violent and people are addicted to the adrenaline or "fun" of the game.

There are clear distinctions between the two, but athletically speaking, I believe high school esports should exist.
