On TL Buying ALL OF THE PLAYERS

Some of you may or may not have watched the video where Travis talks to Steve "DOUCHE BAG" Anharcet. In said interview Steve says that he thinks there should be some kind of regulations to prevent teams from buying all of the talent and holding them hostage to profit. But then he says its because he doesn't think all the teams will have good intentions and be player focused like he and team liquid are.

Well who is he to judge said intentions and determine who is looking out for the players. Seems to me like this statement is extremely self serving. From my vantage point, Liquid has been shit to players from the kicking of elementz to the handling of dardoch this guy and his team have been complete shit when dealing with players. This latest buy out of all the talent with his disney money only further proves how much of a DB he is and I look forward to watching his team fall flat on their collective faces because no matter what heads he gets to rep his loser team the inept management (read steve) will find a way to fuck it up.

Hopefully, TL doesn't suck this year mainly because it seems to be full of players that I like(Impact/X-Mithie/Pobelter/D-Lift and Olleh) if in fact, that is the final roster, but you never know with TL honestly. The 4th place meme hasn't been relevant since like 2015 since TL seems to finish much lower than 4th since.

It's a dog eat dog world as far as $ goes so, it's anyone's chances of creating the best rosters. I do however see how Steve just can't seem to do anything right with the roster that he's given/made as TL literally had a 10 man roster last year with 5-6 of those 10 being star players from former teams and yet, the team was pure garbage.

I do have a softspot for Impact and I like Olleh too. IMO Impact is on a downward trajectory career-wise. Pobelter has some significant weaknesses that are exploitable. X-mithie can't do anything in carry jungle metas and that's kinda where were heading into Season Damage (8). D-lift is way over-rated and has a tendency not to use flash optimally as evidenced by worlds. I think this is another case where Steve's idiocy will be immediately apparent. Though I wouldn't discount a possible 4th place finish.

See, I have 2 topics that make me think that TL will either come close to winning the Spring Split(possibly losing in Finals or winning 3rd place at XXX stadium) as well as Team Solomid not winning the Split mainly because like most other "sports" it's rigg....... and TSM winning yet, another Split only to get hyped up is something Rito are trying not let happen. The "meta" is something that can make or break certain players but at the same time 2018 really seems like a "fresh new start" to league and I personally don't think we will get the same ol' winners and losers as we once did.
Impact is on a downward spiral career-wise but at the same time, he's still one of the better top laners in NA at the moment if we talk about team first before self.
Xmithie may seem to only know how to play tank junglers at the moment but early in his career with Team Vulcan/XDG he was the carry for his team. He also has a history of winning in NA constantly being on the 1st-3rd best teams split after split 2013-14(C9-TSM-XDG) 2015-2016(TSM-CLG-C9) 2017(TSM-IMT-C9) D-lift isn't "overrated"...........ok, maybe he is lol

Um, what? They have stated that their starting roster will be Impact/Xmithie/Pobelter/Doublelift/Olleh. All 5 of these are different players (unless you really want to argue that Doublelift was a big part of Team Liquid)

Players have their choices of which they team they want to sign with if the team want them

Liquid didn't just go and force these players to be on their team

Looks like I'll have to educate another dumpling. You know, there's such a thing as a team buying a player's contract from another team. You could argue that a player could oppose movement to certain teams, but they won't have a choice regarding the matter as long as they are still under contract. I don't think Dardoch asked to be traded to team liquid at the end of last season, just as an example.
