Doublelift is completely wrong about the ping system being less effective than drawed-out language. Pings allow players to communicate with quickness and with precision. Language often causes A LOT of miscommunication, especially in stressful circumstances.

Having a shorthand code of communication that you have adapted to is FAR better than using long tongue language form. Many military teams use code and not just so that the enemy doesn't know what you are speaking of.

1 shot caller is more effective then just pings. However, it's the combination of the two that is most efficient.

The main differences are on-the-spot tactics. "Flank them" can't be said with a ping. You can say "On my way behind them" or something, but can't tell someone to flank... So, it's true, but as been seen, the disadvantage isn't that large or insurmountable.

I wonder if the two teams have been told they can't come home if they don't at least put up a good show.

With all the fanfare and buildup, the huge stadium and fanart/cosplay/merchandising parade, a 10-2 20 minute game followed by the losing team going on tilt would probably go over poorly.

If Korea wins, I give pre-emptive credit to Mata.

OMG Sjokz (sp) just acted so insensitive towards XPeke when xPeke said "This stadium was something I could only dream off when I won Season 1 championship" and she said "It's no longer a dream, it's a reality." Just look at xPeke's face when she says that. It's so crestfallen. He didn't make it.

The commentator's desk should have the FULL sitting sections in the background, not the ones that are empty because the audience can't look @ the screen from there.

why didn't they let insec play what he wanted in game one? (shaco) they even picked him kha'zix when he was already showing shaco to the crowd.

Rito please decrease the UI size that you are casting in the Twitch stream. Personalize it to the finals of the championships so people can still see items. Maybe make items banner that only shows when someone visits the shop. It's completely unnecessary how much space it takes and I don't understand how nobody has commented on this yet.

i'm kinda feeling a janna first pick for SHR in game 4 with a thresh ban to see if insec could play a fiddler again. that would be fun to see.

So this championship was pretty cool! Time will tell if I remember who Samsung White is. For some reason, I remember the Taipei Assassins win more clearly than SKT1. It's kind of like how one remembers the winners of American Idol more the older they are. I liked how Taipei Assassins walked off the stage with the cup. That was funny.

I don't like how Corn/Cola performed for Royal so I don't think I'll see them again next year.

I don't understand putting just the 3 mids of past seasons around the Summoner Cup. It should be the MVP of each season championship, no?

For next year, I hope the championship includes the unveiling of a new CGI (the season 6 trailer) and the cosplayers at the event better covered.
