"No one wanted to scrim us"

Wow! Honestly, I was not a big fan of ANX. I gave them respect not for getting out of the groups but because they actually played well. They outperformed many teams, not just the teams in their groups.

I did not get a chance to watch the games so I did today. Hearing the players from ANX say that no team wanted to scrim them. Quite upsetting because you gotta agree it's a uphill battle for the wildcard teams.

Respect!

Also look at what teams do when they scrim. When your a team facing another team you want to win right ? If a team picks champions that makes no sense to any meta, the team that is scrimming you wont to take you serious and the word will go around " hey these guys are taking scrims like it's a joke" because their not playing meta picks.

So if you want to scrim with teams you need to pick "meta" picks and that is where and why most NA/EU teams fall to LCK teams because they pick "meta" picks and the LCK teams get to see how these other teams/players play the champions that they will mostly likely see on stage from those teams/players.

SO it's like "video taping" teams scrims NFL NE Patriot style. It's an advantage NOT to scrim teams 1-2 weeks before Worlds why would you give ANYTHING away so close to Worlds!
Look at the TSM vs SKT games that got leaked TSM played similar on stage at Worlds that they did against SKT in those 3 games they won 2 out of the 3. A week later 3-3 eliminated.

#Advantage to ANX for not giving anything away to teams 1 week before the biggest tournament and not showing teams their "hand" and their "ace in the whole" before Worlds.

That being said, I still find it funny. Typically, teams should want to scrim against teams that they have zero shot of playing against at worlds/in the later rounds so that they don't reveal anything and sabotage their chances. The fact that noone wanted to scrim against them is somewhat baffling, as they would've literally been the perfect team to do so assuming they thought that they had zero chance of making it out of groups.
