wtf am i watching? fnc vs clutch, yuumi has more ap than akali and in one fight did more damage than fncs top jungle mid and "adc" together.
meanwhile in soloq her winrate is at 40% one of the lowest of all champs. (btw same goes for akali)

Yummi is the dumbest champ in the game. No skill cap. Rewards bad play. You can go afk for 20 mins and come back fed. Can build full AP with massive damage and massive heal. Untargetable.
Real talk, dumb on Clutch to not ban it, but RIOT goofed on this champ.
Are people just now realizing how much damage AP Yuumi does?
She's always done really good damage, especially with that ult, that thing fucking hurts.
It just doesn't shine often because she relies on the positioning of her teammate in order to get off a good ult or a couple of good Qs.
Either way expect her to be gutted after World's because she's a rather passive champion who does decently well against aggression.
pro play has low overall damage because they fight less and Yuumi is a champion who's really good at putting out safe distanced poke
it makes perfect sense for the environment she's in

I'm 100% sure the reason yuumi has a low winrate in soloque is because of the type of people who play her.
53k damage as a support? I'm sorry, even if she has low win rate in solo, that's gross. She did far more damage than a good number of the team put together. I get she does it more in the late game, but that is still crazy damage for something called a "support". A "support" really doesn't feel like it should be the teams main damage dealer and also be able to heal everyone else back up to full. Choose one. Having both just creates what we just saw, very very hard to kill, hard to kill whoever she's attached to, can't really engage well...ugh.

To be honest, you are watching the results of a poorly tested design, imo. This is another case where the idea is cool, but Riot just did not test the concept well enough. Pro players hate it. It's stupid for something so low-skill to be more effective in pro simply because of communication. She needs a serious rework already, because the kit is toxic.
She does more dmg while being unkillable thanks to Garen, while having OP healing, a disgusting teamfight ulti that has a short CD, a slow, strong mobility, getting to 
basically for free again because Garen is unkillable with Yuumi and she gets to take double combat summons, while getting Free TPs and Flashes from her teammates.
Teams been leaving her open because of the "nerfs" but i'm sure that's she gonna get the Pantheon treatment after today.
Riot should honestly just disable Yuumi for worlds. Clearly just way too unfair.
Support actually can get a lot of gold now with things like Klepto and FrostFang. And since she can focus on poking instead of farming like other allies or protecting like other supports, she can just keep applying damage. Hell, she doesn't even have to focus on surviving because her ADC is likely to not take too many risks or die while she's attached.
It's a similar thing to Zyra in soloq where she just keeps attacking.
People crying about Yuumi winning 1 game when the Kaisa/Xayah has been an ever present tumor in every game. AP Yuumi isnt new, the only reason it won is because Garen tanked the hits. This is just like every other team comp of funneling gold and kills towards power players, get over it.
They even lost the first time they tried this and next time it will be banned away from them, just like when Kayle crushed games as a late fighter was brought online earlier through funneling and then got banned later. This is how the game is played, stop crying you arent even fighting them yourself. [sg-ahri-3]

That's because in soloQ no one knows how to work together.
To be fair, 3 of the teammates were tanks and the 4th was an akali that was farming side lanes.
edit: we could also make the argument that 80% of fnatic are boosted diamond trash.
damage charts arent accurate tbh
lets say you have a karthus ult that does 500 magic damage with his ult alone and you have a malzhar which does 500 magic damage to a single target
The karthus would do more damage... why ? because it hits more than 1 target so if it hits all 5 targets karthus ult did 2500 for the damage charts compared to malz who did 500
With yuumi its similar with her ult being really hard to avoid - dont forget they are building AP as well so it should be high

She has a trash winrate in Solo Q (40 % or so, you said it) But she also has a normal winrate in competitive: 51 % in the 5 major leagues combined, 117 wins and 111 loses. 6 wins more than loses in a champ that according to boards is the most broken op stupid champ ever created. How is that a BIG DEAL?

Was the Yasuo Gragas a problem in bot when he could give Yas a freebie ult? No because they were counter picked in draft and in game before they could pop off, but that was a super duo draft too. Yuumi/Garen bot can be stopped by taking 1 of the champs away in bans and there goes that whole strat. She isnt a problem, the part of her kit that made her overpowered in pro-play was already dealt with for the slows, she's lost games and won games in Worlds, it's not an instant win pick .
Where's all the lane assassins? It's just Akali, Leblanc, Qianna, and Kai'sa. super stale, majority of times in support the picks are the hook meta. Imagine still kneejerking over a 40% winrate champ in soloq while panth has a 99% ban in Worlds and only got picked ONE game.
