Maybe if everyone in the Whole World start cursing and crying about Korea winning all the time like they did with SKT, it might come true and another Region beside Korea will win Worlds.

Andraxx1 votesEU and NA mostly use eSports to sell goods. They're taking advantage of a market in order to make money (Take a look at all the streamers and websites that sell their stuff). The other regions besides South Korea and China, don't have as much of a developed gaming focus/ eSports community as the rest of the world. South Korea has PC bars on every street where people go and play competitive games all day and night long. There was a whole documentary I saw about it all in January 2015 after the World Championship where SSW won. If any region is going to beat Korea, it has to be China. The skill difference is crazy compared to the western cultures.
Edit: Side note. I do think that for a new LCS team, Misfits played it amazingly. They turned the whole tournament on its head. Would have been something if they would have beat SKT in the quarter finals. Would have been insane. They just couldn't abuse the weak point in Huni like RNG or SSG could. RNG would have won the semi-finals if they would have forced Faker onto a champion that didn't have the impact that Galio had all tournament long.

Though to be fair, that's probably because Dota is not popular in Korea, in fact Korea almost doesn't know (or care about) its existence until like 1-2 years ago. Dota has always been big in China (though not as big as LoL in China atm, considering it's run by Tencent, their biggest tech giant), though; but the absence of Korean presence is probably why it would seem west is doing fine in Dota scene, considering the only truly big player from the east is just China.

Imagine Asians complaining they are not as good as Europeans in soccer. If other regions want to win in this esport they can start hiring good players... MSF have 2 koreans, WE has 3 koreans, and they did well. Crying is not a solution. insert pepe the frog :(
