The thing that makes a Cheese strat a cheese strat and not standard is because it is easily countered given you don't see it coming. By that I mean cheese strats inherently having glaring flaws with them.
Example: Season 3 Velocity Esports pulled out an Ezreal jungle game. The strategy was to get ezreal blue early, and using his high poke damage along with the massive movespeed buff Janna's passive game at the time, they poked down turrets rotating the map far faster than the enemy team was capable of responding. It worked because the enemy team didn't think they would try to pull that off. How do you counter this? Ban Janna and/or pick a jungler who just hard engages to kill them when they try to do that early.
Long story short is that cheese strats are the type of thing you save because you can only do it once. People, much less pros, are likely to fall for the same trick twice.
