Renekton - The Renekton Bar is Back I Think

I'm very perplexed as to why the hell so many teams are defaulting to Darius in the first damn rotation. He has so many ways to be dealt with. The one counter pick in particular that caught my eye was SKT's Renekton pick.

I don't think there is a single top lane pro that can't play Renekton, so the fuck are you blind picking Darius for!? Renekton can deal with almost every top laner that's been picked I think. Darius, Fiora, Riven, Gnar.

Best of all he is far more reliably effective in a teamfight due to his mobility and stun. Also he's very unpopular in Solo Queue, but the few times I see him he hard carries like crazy.

There are some people who are extremely rusty on Renek, but Gnar, another counter to Darius, is literally played by every pro top laner very regularly.

Yea that makes sense. But Renekton just seems more reliable then playing around Mega Gnar.

True, but nobody's playing Renek. Only Marin has been playing it, everyone else has been practicing the Juggernauts and the standard picks.
