Honestly, I think TSM will do worse. C9 has shown a lot of variety and a lot of adaptability, and TSM has shown little of either.
Its likely C9 will have a rough group stage, but if they make it past that they have shown an incredible amount of tenacity in the past three days in Bo5s. That sort of tenacity will serve them well if they can make it further.
All of that said, of the NA/EU teams, Fnatic and Origen have the most potential to do anything of real merit. Especially Fnatic. If they were to win the entire tournament, I can honestly say I wouldn't be surprised.
it´s still some time, and at least they showed that they have big champion-pools on some members (hai/sneaky) and thus can play a lot of different strategies. I personally think TSM will be off a lot worse.
I think you mean TSM. No, I think there is a decent chance C9 is stronger than TSM going into worlds. Both won 3 to 1 against TL, so they seem equal on that front, and C9 went 2 and 0 against them this split. Not saying there is solid proof that C9 is stronger than TSM right now, but if they played a best of 5, are you really certain TSM would win?
They will still perform better than any other team in NA hat did not qualify.

C9 will have by far the worst draw.. so I think this is to be expected. They are guaranteed to be in a group with a #1 seed from another region... If that region is Korea or China... well.. GL HF I guess.
I'm surprised they lost
It kinda sucks that after that big crazy split of ups and downs we've had, we still have Cloud9 and TSM going to Worlds. Feels like we were cheated out of something interesting.
TSM is far more stagnant and punishable. Esp. if this C9 shows up.
C9's only problem is 3rd seed. I think they are playing better then TSM atm.
CLG is our best hope, but I personally love watching C9 games. It doesnt matter who they face; the 10th team or the best team, the games are close, scrappy, and interesting to watch. As long as they can have a few performances like they did in this gauntlet, I'll be happy as a fan.
