Hey everyone,

We've made a number of balance changes to ARURF+ both pre-launch and through micropatches in the last couple days. This thread will allow you to get the details on those changes.

1/31 Reduced Tower Damage bonus from Elder Dragon by half on first Elder Dragon

Dark Harvest Reduced damage per soul from 5 to 2 Reduced base damage at level 1 from 20 to 15 Reduced base damage at level 18 from 60 to 55 Reduced AP Ratio from 0.15 to 0.1

Early Surrender - When you end up in those truly hopeless games, you can now unanimously surrender at 8 minutes, or normal surrender at 10 minutes. Early Homeguard - Homeguard is enabled from the start of the match. Bonus Tower Damage - Rip down enemy structures a bit faster with our newest tweak to URF’s Awesome Buff of Awesomeness. Removed Teleport - Since other things like homeguard and the cannon make map movement much easier, we’ve disabled teleport to help everyone focus on combat-oriented Summoner Spells.

Klepto Buffed probabilities commensurate with game speed increase Magical Footwear Boots granted at 6 minutes instead of 10 minutes Biscuit Delivery Biscuit Minute Interval 3min->1.5min Minion Dematerializer Initial Cooldown 4 minutes -> 2 minutes Perfect Timing Initial Cooldown 10 minutes -> 4 minutes

Presence of Mind Ult CD Reduction 10%->6%

Aftershock Cooldown 35->15 Grasp of the Undying Triggered attack bonus health increased to 15 from 5. Ranged champions triggered attack bonus health increased to 9 from 3. Demolish Cooldown 45->30 Conditioning Begins at 6 minutes instead of 10 minutes

Phase Rush Cooldown 15->10 Nimbus Cloak Cooldown 60->30 Nullifying Orb Cooldown 60->30 Gathering Storm You get stats every 4.5 minutes instead of every 10 minutes

I think that Hecarim needs some nerf at urf he is rly broken

ok riot listen, the balance changes are great - giving players a chance to not have to deal with the overpowered champions ruling the mode. But i think you’re missing the point, for many of us, the greatest fun in urf was getting someone like helicopter hecarim and beyblade garen, when the community found out the e stacked on each other, it was great. People raced into the mode to try and pull something rare to absolutely dominate the competition, this is the reason for urf being one of, if not, the most asked for modes. With these nerfs and balance changes, you’re making an attempt to change it into a less chaotic mode. You need to understand that the mode is fun BECAUSE of this strength that players have with certain picks. Would love to see URF continue as a mode full of chaos and players getting a chance to truly, rapid fire cast their abilities.

Or is no one playing him at all.

I haven't had the option yet.

But i can imagine it not being fun. Since everyone outranges him and the game mode actively fucks his sustain.

could you guys please reduce the impact of taking the elder drake? its currently game over if one team gets the first drake. the fun is over when either team gets drake. i would like to see either the true dmg DOT from elder being removed or the true dmg to objectives/towers being decreased or removed. taking a 2nd drake when u have one already is too easy currently.

Just a small question, Why is there an ARURF change/feedback thread out yet when nexus blitz was out 2nd time there wasn't one for entire span that the game mode running?

How random is All Random. I seem to be getting the same champions over and over again and seeing the same champions in games over and over again.

I think the Jax e really needs to be looked at. Even the person playing him admitted it was broken.

So i have some tips to make urf more enjoyable since i dont hear much good from it. The first one is to don't try to balance a fun gamemode and don't make it random, since most of the players are waiting for that 1 champ for 40-50-60 games to play it and they won't even enjoy that since the enemy is that much stronger or weaker. The second one is removing the baron/dragon, or give them something like baron buff is that your minions will permanently spam emotes and dragon is that your minion does some kind of taunt if they kill an enemy or something like that, be creative with that.The 3rd one is that you should add revive with like 80-100 second cooldown, since one of the worst thing in the game is waiting on the grey screen, so people would find more fun in it,and maybe reduce death timers.The next summoner spell which should be added is Clairvoyance since it helps things like lux r ezreal r sniping etc... i think thats about it, i hope you consider trying this out or just think about it, do a vote in the client or something.

if you think this is a good idea, then upvote it, i would appreciate it.

(a bonus, if you want to make ap ezreal good again, then give ap jg item back its s5 form so it would have a bit of waveclear, nerf this double tear build somehow, either don't allow to stack 2, or something, and then both ap mid ezreal and ad ezreal would be good. since i love ap ezreal, but now there is no way to play it right now, maybe in jungle, but thats not so good either. if he had some waveclear then it would be good, and it would be special to have a smite midlaner who is such fun, but you must not play him on ranked, since he is not that great but can oneshot. also same goes to rengar give him back his old ferocity working so ap rengar would be playable again)

Is there a reason that certain champions are more common in ARURF? For a game with 130+ champions, I rarely see 130+ champions worth of variety. I understand that with trades and rerolls people are going to favor better champions, but the distribution still seems extremely off.

I really like this balance style for gamemodes.

Simply changing Dmg/Reduction %'s is both easy to implement and easy to understand/remember for both devs and players. It's a win win.

Base cannon still exists => I'm still not playing.

It's no fun playing a squishy champion when you can't siege towers for fear of a bruiser cannoning in behind you, so the only option is to kill them first. I liked URF because it was SR on steroids; this mode is just fighting with no strategy.

Ryze 's shield or root need addressed. With low ping he shreds any nonranged character without counterplay and wins any ranged battle with a constantly refreshing shield.
