Can we either fix or just get rid of the search function on the boards?

I'm almost positive that the search function for these boards being stupid and broken is why there are so many necro posts.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to how it displays search results, so you just get all sorts of threads that are months or even years old.
