Small indie company.

Good question. I've wondered that myself for a while.....

Honestly, there's no functionality outside of post history and its just another failure from the "improved" Boards (that are still in beta apparently). Our volunteer tech guys are working on fixing the Boards up, but I have no information if this will ever sport additional features.

I mean... you realize that The Boards are still in Beta, right? Riot is after all a small indie company with not enough resources, so having their message boards in beta for 5 years is perfectly understandable and normal.

The boards aren't the first, nor will they be the last, long term beta.

Didn't DayZ stay in Alpha for like 5 years?

We'll just have beta for life here then ;)

Maybe the idea was that we could have signatures and/or custom avatars and they never got around to adding that.

I think that would be fucking cool, and if I was any kind of graphical design kind of person I'd absolutely be willing to do that.

But I'm not, so I can't.

Hashinshin's ban is a great example of why what he says isn't gospel and shouldn't be taken as such.
