Specialist/mod does not belong on the boards

So there is a certain specialist/mod that shall remain nameless, as I do not want to break name and shame rules, that should not be allowed on the boards. This individual has been horrible to people on the boards for a long time and abuses his powers frequently. They spam posts commenting the same thing on every post about certain topics, refuse to ever admit they are wrong even when people provide facts otherwise, and intentionally ignore parts of posts just to try and say they are right. This person needs to go.

The same things you've said about me (you've replied directly to me saying these things in other posts so I'm not sure why you're averse to naming me here) i could turn around to be about you.

I've asked you to explain how my opinion on Eternals is wrong, and you continually try and claim that your opinion is fact, that you've provided logic and evidence (when you haven't), and that it is inappropriate for me to have an opinion.

Why bother with a boards post then?

If you feel they legitimately shouldnt have a place on the moderation team why not go to the boards discord?

Because making a public post with little chance of the moderators seeing probably isnt going to get much done.

Want to know what the person in question does? He doesn't tell people what they want to hear. He tells them what they need to hear. Im sorry that pisses you off, but welcome to the world, you're going to have to deal with not getting your way.

We all know who you meant before clicking on this thread which says something.

But yeah, he is definitely one of those mods who could use some summer school on how to actually be a good mod. It takes more than just praising riot for everything and anything.

But yeah, go to the boards discord if you feel strongly enough about it and complain.

First of all: is it a specialist, a moderator or a person who has both titles?

"It is only a specialist" => Specialist is a title given for players who proved their knowledge on a certain topic - as far as I know the title is only visible at "their" subboard. Not every specialist has to be a moderator, plus they don't have more power than you and me.

If you encounter any problems with a player here on boards feel free to report their comments or contact the team (may it be on this subboard or on the Discord sever) and dicuss the problem with them.

Soul Dealer, my opinion about this topic and you is a bit biased, so I rather stop here. I just wanna say: you have no right to demand that someone has to go, even more when you admit that he "pisses you off" - you are quite influenced by your own personal problem with them.
