Love the favoritism here

So I made a post recently and someone was commenting on it a being a pretty big nuisance and just generally being and asshole. He contributed nothing to the discussion and was just being a dick. I responded to him and, to be fair, I was kind of a dick when I did so I’m not surprised my comment got removed but I am shocked that this guys comments did not get removed because he was way worse then I was. What is the deal here? Why is his comments not removed?

This is the post. I can’t say whose comments I am talking about because of name and shame but it should be pretty easy to figure out.

Because he's pointing out the absurdity of a lot of posts. He contributed quite a lot, just not in a direct way. "This post is absurd, nothing should work how OP thinks it should" is a valid viewpoint, especially if you just reduce OP's point to its core and point out its absurdity.

For a minute I thought this thread was going to be about me, but then I remembered I do my best to not reply to any of your "zomg rito does't care about....." threads.

He was being intentionally unhelpful? Fine, you made an intentionally pointless, biased thread that left no room for discussion.

I relooked over that post and the other poster you're talking about.

I don't think there was malice in his first comment. He took your comment, "Riot needs to either make individual performance a factor or make it so one or two people can not lose you a game," and had a sarcastic take on it that more or less stated this: there's more to lane phase in a game. Could it have been worded better? Sure. He made a similar response the second time, where you made the now-deleted response. He finally made a 3rd comment that was still the same. I'd removed that. While on it's own, it probably wouldn't be a problem, but I think the poster saw that something was aggravating you and decided to just do it again; thus, his 3rd post was removed (a while ago, before you made this post, if I'm not mistaken).

I understand trolls are a frustration everyone deals with in game. There aren't many that make posts about their punishment for trolling, but they do get punished, and you can report them for intentionally trying to lose the game.
