So KempyreanPirate locked my Thread. I want to know why

this one specifically: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/h8jPJwto-riot-has-officially-shown-you-how-to-deal-with-yasuos-frustration?comment=0017

I want if possible for some mod to quote what exactly** I did **that was toxic and required the thread to be locked. Note I'm not asking for it to be opened again or anything like that -- I just want a Mod to show me what replies I did that were toxic specifically.

Hey DeadUnborn,

I'll be locking this thread due to the toxic back-and-forth with other players.

The OP is fine, but the way you are handling comments is clearly creating a problem, so I'm shutting that down.

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to visit us on the Discuss the Boards sub-board or our Discord server.

Ah, you did make a thread here already.

Sorry, can be tough to see this stuff exactly when it gets posted. Specifically, it was the thread with HalcyonDweller that led me to lock it up.

This comment is where it starts going really downhill. As a mod, it can be really difficult to follow and remove comments for an entire thread like that, and it can be difficult to discern exactly where things went off the rails.

The use of the emote, in that comment, felt particularly patronizing to me; you could have easily walked away from the conversation at that point, but instead it continued in a way that seemed incredibly bothersome, at least to HalcyonDweller. Telling someone that their points are redundant is pretty clearly off-topic imo. There's a lot of people that like to think this is a debate team practice, but it isn't.

The point of the Boards is to discuss the game. When that stops happening (and we see reports on comments), that's when we step in. I locked it because I cede that there wasn't anything truly awful going on there; perhaps "toxic" was too strong a word. But it was clear to me that the conversation wasn't going anywhere, and it seemed like it was headed for a bad situation, so I made the call to lock it. The call was easier considering you were the only two still talking on that thread. Does that make sense?
