There used to be hundreds of upvotes for posts. Now it is like 20 on the first page. I assume many less people are playing the game this season.

Cause the boards are a toxic mess so the majority of the league playerbase has moved to reddit for educated discussion while most just ghost here to see the infighting.... like myself.

The top posts had hundreds or thousands of votes. That sort order was of limited utility and is no longer available. Keep in mind that "hot" posts are generally no more than a few days old. I don't remember a time even since the old forums when new posts got hundreds of votes. Reddit is much more popular.
