Community Lore Events

Since this new sub-section is also meant to talk about special events done in this community, allow me to show you an idea I came up with that I think would be really cool to do:

#Community Lore Events

One of the coolest things about League (lore wise, anyway) is how Riot has hosted special events dedicated to a specific region in Runeterra. I still think that the Bilgewater event was one of the coolest things Riot has done yet for League, and it is a shame to not see Riot do these anymore, even though it makes sense as to why they stopped doing it.

But, who's to say the community can't do some of their own?

We could start it off by voting for a specific region in Runeterra to focus on. Once we've decided on the region, the real fun begins. We could have several different threads, or, hell, even temporary board sub-sections where people can go and submit their fanfic, champion concepts, champion VGU concepts, art, and even game mode concepts (cause why not?). Then, if Riot wants to help promote it, they can easily post a link of it on the League Client, and maybe even provide icons as competition awards, or special discounts on champs/skins that fit well with the region.

Of course, something like this would be on a much larger scale than just a simply fanfic event (something that has been talked about recently in this sub-section). It may also require quite a bit of coordination and planning from the mods, so, I wouldn't expect something like this to be a common occurance, unless the mods figure out an easy way to organize everything.

But yeah, just an idea I had. I'd love to hear what you guys think.
