I don't want that message when I click on links.

When I click on a link, the standard "this link might kill you" pop-up comes on the screen, and every time I click "don't show this message again." but it doesn't do anything because the next time I click on a link, it pops up again.

The only reason I can think for this is that it only works for that particular link, but if that's the case, it's essentially useless. I never find myself clicking on the same link more than once.

I think everyone knows at this point that links can be malicious and if they have the opportunity to see the pop-up once, they should be allowed to never see it again and use their own discretion to click on the links they want.

I know it's frustrating, but I think this is one that will stay. We get a lot of people trying spam/scam messages, and having that link pop up that shows you the URL you're going to is helpful, especially since a lot of people might click a link before seeing what the hover in the bottom of their window indicates. The fact that internal and external links show up as the same style of text is another good reason for this.

In short, I know it's frustrating, but I think it's low on the priority radar.

Hey Ogre!

The upcoming changes slated for roughly two weeks out should persist these settings and not have you ripping your hair out on a daily basis. We've got a lot of really cool stuff coming up, so hang tight, friend!
