Boards View Options messing up?

Is it just me or are the options for viewing comments messed up? Like I like it in the discussion view but it swaps to that other view - whatever it is called. Sometimes I can change it or it will be in my preferred view but other times it goes to that other view which is annoying since I like following comment threads.
