With the addition of Gameplay+, are there any plans to improve the regular Gameplay board?

I was wondering if there were any plans to improve the regular Gameplay board or if Gameplay+ was the unofficial recognition that Gameplay is a lost cause. Lets be honest, the Gameplay board is completely overrun with super low quality threads, insane amounts of duplicate posts, extreme hostility, flat out witch hunts, bold faced lies disguised as "hyperbole", and circlejerk farms that downvote even rational discussion into oblivion. The Gameplay board is in dire need of help.

Gameplay was supposed to be where we had a chance to have a rational discussion with Rioters and our fellows players. As it is now, the Gameplay board is a ultra hostile cesspool that Riot ignores in fear of crucifixion and the rest of the community makes fun of. Reddit makes fun of how bad this board is. Streamers make fun of how bad this board is. Hell, even Memes & Games memes about how bad this board is.

I feel as though the moderation team is aware of this issue and it is the sole reason why Gameplay+ was introduced. Are there any plans to carry over any of the features from Gameplay+? I feel as though Gameplay could benefit from much stricter moderation for quality. There are far too many low quality posts that go unchecked and sooooooo many duplicate threads at all times.

Speaking only for myself, we are aware of the concerns regarding Gameplay and we share some of them, but it G+ wasn't created as a new space solely for the purpose of letting the old board fester and rot. We remain committed to properly moderating Gameplay, but you have to admit it's a very daunting task.

Part of the problem is that Gameplay as a community doesn't seem to be especially good at self-moderating. Player Behavior had the benefit of a long-standing community (the old TBI) where average people volunteered to help keep things running. PB is still messy and people will always complain like crazy, but it's far better than it could have been and it remains my favorite place on the Boards.

If I had one wish for Gameplay, it would be for the old-timers to shift to being mentors rather than critics. I see a lot of threads that devolve down to "You're just WRONG" and while that may be true, it doesn't really help anything.

The thing is, a "worst board" HAS to exist.

If Gameplay becomes stricter, people will just move on to the next board and ruin that one.

Player Behavior is already one big shithole of people screaming at Riot because they got banned with no intention of actually holding a civil discussion.

I, for one, do not have anything against the Gameplay board's current state because I know I can always go over to Gameplay+ if I want to.
