It's actually a fucking joke at this point that THIS

is removed, but the posts about "Riot didn't tell us Prestige Qiyana was going to be Worlds Tokens" were allowed to stay up and get front page, despite being:

A) Clearly wrong B) Uncivil as fuck, calling Riot scammers, saying they're trying to squeeze money out of us C) Some of them have resorted to insulting anyone who disagreed (I was even called a shill by one of them)

And for those of you who know me and my posts, I love bashing Riot, it's fun and easy, so if I'm saying you're in the wrong when bashing Riot, you know you're doing something wrong.

Posting a link multiple times because the guy clearly doesn't read it or other comments is a big no-no

And then apparently this is the evil sin I've done for the week

Since it's gonna be removed anyway, next time I'll call them an illiterate fuck like I did in my mind, because apparently it's not civil unless I add an uwu at the end and say "You should have read" By the way, apparently these were both removed for the same reason. These don't seem to be equally toxic, one seems like a sarcastic remark and the other is a fucking link posted 5 times so he clearly sees it.

Oh wait...posting the link will also be removed. Guess I'll just go sit in my corner and let them figure it out for themselves.

From the Board Universal Rules

No spamming or trolling. Some common examples of these behaviors are listed below.

  • Posting repetitive non-constructive or low-effort content.

Also

When you choose to participate in a discussion with the rest of the playerbase, always try to be respectful and receptive to another player's point of view. Also, be mindful of how you present your point of view. If a player feels strongly on a subject, don't get caught up trying to have the last word. Just state your side and exit the conversation gracefully rather than give them the opportunity to pick a fight.

In the case of these removals, you were not only spamming the same link repeatedly (more than once is unnecessary), but also bickering and using sarcasm to belittle another user. If someone is complaining about something, it is not your job to convince them otherwise. Present the evidence respectfully and bow out of the conversation. Saying things like " 'I can't read, so it's Riot's fault' " is nothing but inflammatory and uncivil.

Both comments were removed as Uncivil because both were engaging in the same bickering and sarcastic behavior that is not permitted on the Boards.

Regarding the comment that stayed up, we are just volunteers and we do not see everything. We may not see comments in the same thread as a reported comment because we simply do not have the time to scan every thread and every comment for violations. That's why we rely on the rest of the community to be our eyes and ears and find the things we may miss. If you do not report a comment, then we cannot necessarily be aware that it exists and cannot take action. So if you see something not being removed, report it or come chat with us on the Discord and we'll try to help explain why it hasn't been removed.

I mean, if I posted a link to the Boards Universal rules 5 times on your post right now, it would be removed for being toxic. Unless you are linking specific parts, there is no reason to post the same link 5 times. It would be considered condescending.

Can't really read the sarcastic remark because on mobile, but again sarcasm can also be condescending.

Yes, condescension will naturally be involved with many posts, especially when you wish to explain something. So sometimes you have to try and judge the intent.

If someone isn't reading, what's the point of posting anything at all, much less spamming the same link five times? It comes across as scolding an aberrant child, which is not a nice or useful way to post.

Telling someone they can't read is considered rude. You're lucky you didn't get a Boards suspension for it.

The rules are there to protect everyone, even the uncivil, insulting, wrong, illiterate fucks uwu who don't deserve it. If their mindless rant is posted on a "serious" Board like Gameplay, you have the handy option of reporting it as "Incorrect Board." If the report is found to be valid, the thread will be deleted and the poster ushered to the RANT section. We can't directly tell people that their content is trash, but we are allowed to indirectly tell them to post it in the trash.
