In my opinion, the QOL of using the boards right now almost just makes them not worth using for me.

Now, I'm probably being a drama queen, but I've been on the boards a lot less recently for 2 reasons.

  1. The lack of an easy way to see replies. I was generally a pretty active boards user, making a lot of posts and comments, and I liked being able to just look at all of my replies nicely listed out for me, instead of having to go to my profile or using some other solution that just feels off. Now, I know that they're trying to fix this, but it bothers me nevertheless.

  2. This is more important, the lack of votes on posts. I want to be able to click on the boards and easily what's being supported and what's being shot down; it's just nice to see where the community is in their circlejerks at any given time. I don't want to have to click on each individual post to see if it's liked or disliked. There are some simple solutions that aren't perfect, but would help it out a little bit.

Maybe they could just remove downvotes, and keep upvotes. This wouldn't be great, but I think it would be better than what we have now. You could generally assume that posts with zero or few likes are disliked, and obviously that posts with many upvotes are liked. I'd just like if there was a middle-ground like this, just to make the boards a little better to use.

Like I said though, I'm probably being a drama queen. But I thought I'd throw this out there.

I agree. I feel like Reddit is the only decent place for LoL discussions now
