I just needed a Moderator to confirm that the decision to censor the word "r%%%%%" was done by the Moderation team, not by Riot, a month or so ago.
EDIT: To clarify, I know this is the case. I was trying to explain this to someone and that "r%%%%%" isn't considered a zero tolerance phrase by Riot. They asked for a citation which I could not find so I'm asking for one here

As to whether it's considered zero-tolerance in-game, I'm still not clear on that. It's an ugly, hateful word to call somebody, and is clearly prejudicial. Does that make it as bad as the other common ZT words and phrases? Not sure, but at the very least it'll put you at risk of a chat restriction if you use it in-game.
It is not, to my knowledge, a zero-tolerance phrase in-game. It is something we added to the board censor and our Riot contacts are on board with because of the frequency with which we saw it being used as an insult on the boards.
I was literally coming here to make this thread, since I've seen a lotta people claim that it's a ZT word in the IFS system in game, and I wasn't sure if that's correct. Thanks for making the post! It's really helpful!
