Is someone usng multiple accounts to manipulate votes bannable if you can prove it?

Usually if a thread gets an unusual amount of upvotes or downvotes in a very short period of time then most likely it's a case of vote manipulation, in which case we lock or delete the thread. If I recall correctly vote manipulation is also something that can result in a punishment when someone is caught doing it.

I'm 100% positive that people do that all of the time. I had even done it to try and upvote my own posts before lol, but it is kinda dumb.

I highly doubt it is bannable, especially in terms of gameplay.

I don't think anything done on the boards could actually result in a ban in the client, aside from something very extreme, .. and I'm not going to put that to the test, myself.

I mean I don't see how you'd prove it. But it's pretty petty to do something like that-- also petty to care so much about a virtual number that you want to report someone for doing it, though.
