Holy hell this needs to stop. This honestly shouldn't be allowed and threads should start being edited or deleted for using quotes when they're not actually quoting jack shit.

Anyone wonder WHY Riot barely comments on these boards? Do you know WHY we can't have gameplay conversations with Riot? Because every time they do, the next day is some absolute bullshit "quote" on the front page THAT THEY NEVER FUCKING SAID.

Why would they post on these boards? Why would they post here when they know they're doomed before they even say anything? What is the point of making a statement when the only thing people care about is what someone twists it into a few hours later? Why would you ever want to come here knowing damn well anything you say will only be used to slander you later?
These people are ruining the rest of our chances to discuss gameplay with Riot and also are using absolutely fabricated nonsense to misrepresent an opinion. An opinion should be debated on whether it's true or not, not by if the person presenting it is a good liar or not.
I propose a new rule. When you quote something, you have to provide the source. If you use quotes and you are not DIRECTLY quoting someone, mods can edit it out of your post or straight up delete your thread or comment.
