The "Reply" Button and the "Quote" Button
Why do both of these exist if hitting "Reply" adds the quotes anyway? I just checked on a post and they both do the exact same thing. Is this perchance a bug?

I think it varies per sub board. On PB, i don't have that issue, at least in discussion view. However, on General Discussion when it changes the View, it does.
That makes sense. I noticed that some other boards, say EU or PBE, looks different. It may just be a outdated coding, then.
I believe that the only board that does this is General Discussion (although I haven't checked fully) -- and General Discussion doesn't have Discussion view, so this feature is needed to determine who is responding to what. There's a chance it's also dependent on which mode (Discussion or Chronological) you're in at the time.
Possibly. I haven't fully explored it neither--it's just something I noticed. It's been like this, at least for me, for a loooooooong time now--I'm talking years, so I'm not sure what it's about.
To clarify though, I'm not meaning that it tags people in general comments. I'm specifically referring to those options beneath each comment-- Reply Quote Permalink -- and I don't understand why it would be necessary for both Reply and Quote to quote, since you could easily know who's speaking to who since replies do say "Responding to" when you reply to someone.

Will be chronological view ever added to GD?
