"Wow, maybe these downvote bots do exist!"

We've never denied the existence of downvote bots or downvote brigading. We've even had moles in some of the more popular Discord servers of people doing those things.

RIOT Employees and (especially) MODs/Specialists were the only ones effectively using downvote bot accounts. I called them out for it several times and even went to the discord servers to discuss it. It's been proven. Now that they have been caught and called out by a bulk of the community, they just get rid of the voting system! Works for me. Now they can use their downvote accounts to dislike all of the comments and harass people even more.

Anyone who argues against it is likely a secondary bot account for the mods. The people who defend the mod team here and primarily the player behavior forum are confirmed secondary mod bot accounts. It cost them nothing to log in to their boards account and downvote and harass the mess out of someone. Take a look at a bunch of these accounts who comment and post here. No games played or active accounts for League... just MOD accounts. GTFO. You're not fooling anyone. Mods/Specialists should be required to use their gameplay accounts (if they even have one) on the boards. At least that way we know they don't have separate board accounts.

i can never come back to playing this game on this account ever again. because at some point someone with a sick sense of humor will notice i am playing.

That's fine. I think votes weren't meant for forums anyways. If people are interested, they'll take the time to comment and add to the discussion. Not just put a fist to their chin, read a title, upvote it, breathe through their nose, and scroll down.

Plus only some posts would gain attention for the sheer fact their title dealt with a shallow idea a lot of players (on the boards) agreed on and never went into depth on why it was a good idea.

"Tanks need a buff!" comment section: "Yeah Tanks do need a buff!" "Riot buff tanks or we riot!"

It's like everyday there's a thread that's just about mobbing and rioting.

Why this is a bad thing tho, I suggested something like that from the start of January, it's literally best decision if they can't just do a proxy like reddit.
