Free Week Orianna. She is taunting me...

Every time she is free I try playing her because I have this delusional belief that I will get better with her. "Maybe, this week, I won't miss every ult." "Maybe, this time, I will finally understand how to play her".

NOPE!

I suck with Orianna. Doesn't matter how much I try to play her. Doesn't matter that I can play literally every other champion and be (at least) on par with them. For some reason I just cannot play her. Why? No goddamn clue. All I need to do is position her ball and cast abilities. Why is that so hard? No one makes me so angry to play and it is all on my end...

Can someone give me some advice so that I can stop making trolls look like pros when I play her?

Try using smart casting. It really helpful and I can guarantee it will improve your gameplay. Also one thing to remember is that practice makes it better. You gotta watch your ball so you can ult properly and when you see someone with low health just use your e on them. A well played orianna can be useful for the team. follow q-r-w combo in a teamfight. And the one thing about orianna is that you gotta be patient and just wait for the right time to attack from distance. Don't ever get close. For smart casting what you gonna do is that when you are in the game, click esc and you will see qwer df.. Under those letters there is an arrow thing. Just click on it and it will be smartcasted. when you did all click okay and play. Smartcast is that you dont have to double click to your mouse again. for example you are gonna q to minions. What you gonna do is that bring your mouse to those minions and just hit q and you will realize how useful it is.(sorry for my bad english.) Hope this helps

It took me so long to get pretty decent with Ori, it has a lot of micro movements you have to do while paying attention to the macro of the game. Don't suppose you know what parts of her are giving you issues? Laning phase, mid game rotations, teamfights?

Using ori q without smartcast is the hardest thing I have ever done. When you can use basic combos and harass with ur passive it helps.
