Skin trading

Hello fellow summoners!

The mystery skin box is pretty cool; It gives people hope they may be lucky enough to pull underworld twisted fate or warick's urf skin... I was happy to get two skins I really wanted (unfortunately it was not those skins, but still good ones)... However, I did also receive some other skins I don't care for.

I think skin trading would be really awesome. It would allow us to give away a skin we don't care for and in return receive a skin we really want. I think it would also tempt people to buy more from the mystery box, because they can then trade away skins they don't like. I know I have spoken with a lot of people who don't like the box because they get skins they don't care for.

I don't think some people understand the concept of GAMBLE.

Also, if they ever implement this it should only be allowed for skins acquired from for full price (not even skins bought during promotion) cause it's really not fair for someone to trade their Spirit Guard Udyr they paid 490 for a Pulsefire Ezreal someone paid 3250 (mere illustrative example).

I understand the point you are making; however, no matter what, trading is never really even. The point of trading is to get rid of something you do not care for or need to get something you would make better use of. Besides, why would someone trade a skin they paid about 30 bucks for? That's just dumb. If someone wants to make a foolish decision like that, so be it.

I said the Pulsefire Ezreal was just illustrative, since it's much easier to illustrate the problem with expensive skins.

I'd happily trade some skins I got for different ones, but I shouldn't be able to trade it with someone who paid more than me for the skin. That's pratically a scam and whoever traded would be coming off in disadvantage.

I could just wait for the free week, buy all the skins with lowered prices and then trade for other skins that people paid full price. You see the problem here? Almost every skin would basically be on free week all the time, I'd just have to find someone willing to trade. Also, it completely takes away the gamble factor and randomness. You're not supposed to always get what you want from mystery gifts. If Riot implemented skin trading, their income would suffer a considerable cut.
