I hope you're still the right person to talk to with feedback about the interface for rune selection.

The problem:

When you go to change runes in champion select (and possibly in your collection as well), clicking on one of the smaller runes, then selecting a different small rune, the whole list of your active small runes shifts like a queue. Y'know, like a programming queue.

This causes it to remove a rune at the end of the queue, even if it's not the rune I clicked on to replace.

Why it is so painful to deal with:

This is unintuitive, frustrating, and costs precious seconds (because I have to frantically scramble to change multiple small runes until the runes I want to keep get shifted into the queue again) with how short champion select is now. This has caused me to bring the wrong runes into matches numerous times.

Plea for help:

Please look into this or please pass it along to somebody who can/will.
