Client: Friends List does not properly show who is Online and wrong Game Times

Started a couple weeks ago, sometimes people I know are Online it shows as Offline. It rarely shows the correct game time, the other day it said my friends were in a 2 hour game which is ridiculous. For friends that it falsely shows as Offline, I don't receive their messages right away.

Even restarting the client doesn't fix it. I have tried repairing my client, problem still persists. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens enough to be annoying.

Something similar affects me too; The status can show a friend being in "Champ Select" for several minutes after their game has started, and it can show "In Game" for several minutes after finishing the game, and going offline. At the time of writing, I have a friend who finished his game normally, and subsequently went offline, but the status still shows "In Game" with the extra information when hovering over: "Summoner's Rift (Normal) - Kai'Sa -:-" (I waited over 20 minutes before posting this and it still hasn't changed from "In Game" to "Offline", the game has definitely ended over 30 minutes ago now, I can look at the results from his profile).

I have "Close client during game" unchecked (and was in a game myself when these status transitions ["Champ Select" -> "In Game"], ["In Game -> Online -> Offline"] would have actually happened). Could this have something to do with the issue?
