Game update on loop - timer counting in negatives?? Can we get a functioning update system??

I opened league to find a 265 MB update. Sat through that for over an hour. Eventually, it finally got close to the end point... Then, to my astonishment, it continued counting past that 265 MBs. It was close to 300 and the minutes remaining were starting to count in the negatives. Then it proceeded to show a connection loss. No. I didnt lose internet.

I reopened league to find the game wanting to keep patching... and 180 more MBs were waiting.

Sat through the 180 MB download. The download proceeded to fail yet again. It kept going past 180 MB and the timer went into the negatives... AGAIN. Closed and reopened. It showed 180 MB again. Wow...

So, I rebooted my computer. Opened league.... 180 MB update.

Sigh.
