Death recap bug or game breaking error?

Yesterday, I played mid lane against a Fizz. He would jump on me and I would be dead in two seconds without having time to figure out what happened. I clicked on death recap to try to figure it out. The recap accounted for about 400 HP worth of damage. I started at full health before the fight; so, we're talking about 800 worth of HP that went "poof".

Fizz hidden passive? I think yes.
