[client] 5.14 client still crashing Windows 8 on log in.

So I'm guessing that new patch today fixed the Mac crashing and texture bugs, but when I log in, it still crashes and freezes my computer.

Seems like it's specifically Windows 8 users that are having the issue, don't know if it's just 64 bit, which I have or if 32 bit windows are having it happen too.

I'd be fine just like, assuming it's being worked on, waiting and checking in every few hours if the client just crashed, but I have to force a shutdown every time since it locks up the whole computer, so some like, acknowledgement of the problem would be nice :x

This happens to me as well. As soon as I log onto league, my computer locks up and I have to force shut down. I'm running Windows 8 64bit.

Likewise, Windows 8.1 64-bit, having this issue. Completely freezes the system when loading the League client. Ram: 8 GB AMD FX-6300-6core Processor @ 3.5 GHz AMD Radeon R7 200 series graphix

However, my 2nd computer is also windows 8.1 64-bit, and is not having this issue. Ram: 8GB Intel Core i7 3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz AMD Radeon HD 7570 graphics

Hello, happens to me aswell. I have windows 8 and once I log into the game, in less than 10 seconds the screen freezes, forcing me to shut down my computer... Any solutions??

Couldn't play since yesterday, everytime I log in it crashes!!
