Can't launch LOL: "libnghttp2.dll was not found"
I can't launch the client anymore. It says "the code execution cannot proceed because lignghttp2.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

Fixed it by running LeagueClient.exe in the Riot Game\League of Legends folder. I also pasted that dll file in the same place and everywhere else with dll files. I really hope this helps, I even bothered to log in and comment this.
I have run into the same problem today. I tried to force a repatch from the hextech tool which seems to have deleted my last patch. However the program won't launch so that didn't help. I ended up running a reinstall (not a clean reinstall). I used the hextech tool for this and it really did not take very long 5-10mins. There is also another thread on this. If you type Can't launch LOL: "libnghttp2.dll was not found" into google you will find it pretty quick
I tried using repair tool but it didnt work. Anyone know how to use this repair tool?
Very easy solution that I just solved NOW. Download exact same file from other website and paste it into the Riot Game file then relaunch the app. It worked for me right now.
just download it in google and copy it into your league of legends folder with other dlls you have
I put it into Riot Games/Leage of Legends and it worked for me
Run the repair tool. This is a known issue, apparently.
So this also happened to me, I tried everything you recommended and it did not work. What worked for me was that I just launched the installer of Lol, it was quite quick and now I am just waiting for the updates to finish.
It won't uninstall either because of this error.
