3 out of 4 Smite icons moving? [Hud bug during gameplay]

So I noticed today while playing jungle that when I bought the Chilling Smite, Challengers Smite, or Poachers Smite item that the damage indicator that is in the middle of the hud on base smite gets pushed over to the left side with the other buffs/debuffs

I initially thought this wasn't a bug, because I mainly play Vi and get chilling smite or Nunu and get Poachers, but I grabbed Trailblazers today on Wukong and the smite icon stayed in the middle, so now I'm fairly sure it IS a bug, and an annoying one at that since it's really easy to lose your smite damage indicator in a stack of 8+ icons on the left in a high-stress situation like a showdown over Drag or Baron.
