The amount of times i've gotten this error....

I've been getting this at least 2-3 times in a row almost every day I play. Sometimes it takes 10 tries to get in which takes like 15 minutes. Almost everyone has this problem but no one will say what the cause is

Yes, this all started about 3 months ago or so... I think it was patch 4.21 ?

I have to attempt to log in about 7 times before it "takes". Very annoying.

Riot is worthless, they arn't fixing it because they don't know how too. Riot has a lot of money, but some problems require intelligence to be thrown at them, not money.

Yes I get this all the time, just resign in. Took me like 8 times.

Here's the thing: Riot hasn't even acknowledged this and other issues even though as the OP rightly states this has been going on for at least 2 months. I have yet to see a Red come in and at least explain to us that they know there are issues.

I can't upvote this enough. And then once you're in, you have to reconnect pvp.net chat another 5 times

The main thing is they have to reproduce this. Most connection related issue's are a result of your isp and routing making it difficult or impossible to replicate in office. Like I use to play a certain mmo where anyone on my local ISP would lag a ton, nothing the devs can do about it but ask the ISP to fix their routing.

You can test this doing a bunch of tracert/ping to the server and see if you get dropped alot.

1+ times every time I try to log in, so I just have to sit there re-trying until I log in.

I have been having this issue since 4.21,maybe 4.20.

I have this problem about 80% of the time. I've noticed that if I launch League of Legends as administrator it tends to help. Other than that the only way that I can get it to work close to 100% of the time is to:

1. Run cmd
2. type ipconfig /release
3. type ipconfig /renew
4. Once connection is back up, right click League shortcut and Run as Administrator.

Around 2-4 attempts to log in on average lately because of this. Even more frustrating is that rather than just send me back to the log in screen the entire client closes wasting more of my time. Fix your game/client/everything Rito.

I was trying to mystery gift one of my accounts from another.. Between switching accounts and getting the store to work properly it took me about an hour...

For me it will say "Logging on..." for about 5-10 minutes and then give me the same message. It started doing this after 5.1 dropped, I even re-installed and followed all the suggestions on the page they link to no avail. Every other online game or service that I use works perfectly.

I get that, or get the "We've encountered an error, sorry" message whenever champ select is close to ending. been happening a lot more lately imo.

I get it 3 or 4 times before i sign in...every single time...every single day. Well, not every day, but the days i choose to play lol

Sure, give me an error. But why the fuck does the fucking launcher have to close what a fucking waste of my time
