...been scanning files and calculating the differences for several hours now :( just wanted to get on with my friends but i guess that's not happening tonight.

Yuuuup. This update isn't happening for me. By the way Riot, this launcher issue is not only for macs. I have an Asus, Windows 8 computer. So fix your server status to not just Mac OS
