Also getting stuck in a queue to log in.

Edit: looks like servers may be going down.. Anyone got a scary story to tell to pass the time?

Thanks for reporting it here, we're looking into it and put up a Server Status message up.

Edit: When the server goes down and you go into the server room (because you have physically go to a server room whenever there's an issue joke) and you see something lurking about... shifting here and there... Then you see it trapped in a corner, you slowly approach it and... . .. ... .... ..... ...... ....... ........ .........

Is OCE fix being pushed? Or if it is too early for the tech department here to work? It's like 6:00 AM in the morning here.

Not at all, we have presence in more than just one timezone so we're able to work on platform issues around the clock. It's also not restricted by region so we have people working on the OC server right now. Can you try relaunching the League Client and logging on now?

I recommend doing your homework now so you don't have to worry about it later! But you might not have too much time to jump onto homework atm. I've been informed we pushed out a fix, but we're going to give it a few test passes to see if everything is good to go.

As edutard321 mentioned, it wouldn't hurt to restart the League Client. Can you try logging in again?

When I was working as IT for a cancer research agency, I went in to their server room to inspect why one of the production servers was not responding. I eventually decided to reboot it manually to fix it. I later found out that I rebooted the wrong server while people were running analysis on it. I was so embarrassed.

True story.

I stopped what I was doing - watching a Linus video - to read that one properly. Well played, sir/ma'am.

Question: Do you have any plants or brush in your server room? I know that isn't standard, but in this case, it might be helpful dealing with those pests.

Interesting suggestion, we keep plants away from the servers since it'd require watering and we don't want mishaps to happen. And in the off chance Garen goes rogue... we don't want the second comic to happen to one of our fine network engineers when they walk into the room.

As a side note, I do watch some Linus videos as well; I like his Tech Quickie series.

same here....was ok few minutes ago after my previous game finished, got stuck at lobby as couldnt click to start new game. Restart client then stuck at log in screen....

The server issues caused me to not get the "Win before 30 Minutes" quest and I'm grumpy. The game simply never detected I finished the quest.

Does anyone have any idea about when the servers will be ready. Problems trying to log in persist but game status says online. If they are not letting us log in would this not mean game servers are down?? Riot how long will this take??

Yeah, I'm not sure that was the case either. I verified with my colleagues that a server status page update was pushed out prior; it couldn't been an old cache. In any case, can you retry logging in? We want to make sure you're able to play League on your day off today!

Of 8 years of playing this game, server issues have NEVER been a problem.

bugs? yes. Bad design philosophy? yes shit communitty? Yes.

server issues are few and far between.

and fortnites dying too.

Hey there, this issue does affect OCE as well. I think the same fix is being pushed out over there as we speak, but it'll have to go through a few test passes so we're confident in the stability of the server.
