Yesterday, my game played fine on medium settings. Constant 60 FPS.
Today (within the last hour) I entered a game and the fps had dropped to 20-25. I disabled shadows and that seems to be the only thing that makes any difference at all. It went back up to around 45, but the oddest part is that I was able to set other settings to high and it stayed above 40 as long as shadows were completely shut off.
I also have lower FPS than normally (~200, when i normally have 300) + sometiems it drops to 20 for a second or so, no idea if it is client fault or my computer

I've been having a similar issue.
I went from playing at 200 to 100 or so several patches ago. Which is OK, but the real kicker is if I leave my computer on for a while THEN play League I get 20-30 fps. No other game or application has that happen for me. So I have to restart my computer to play league.
