Friend can't name herself in game because "Charlotte" is considered an inappropriate word....

This is pretty ludicrous. This oversensitivity thing is preventing people from even doing things as basic as putting their usernames. I can only imagine it is because the word "harlot" ois in the name Charlotte, but this is just Pokemon XY levels of silly.

I doubt this, I've seen much worse usernames than "Harlot." There's probably some foreign slang or something that shares parts of this name that's been banned for use that's limiting this.

Change the "l" of "Charlotte" into an "I", as in the "I" from say, "Big".

This may look confusing, but let me explain.

The capital case of "i/I" looks the same as the lower case of "l/L" in League, or at least almost the same. So you can just use them interchangeably when it comes to names.

Hope this can get fixed. Best of luck.

Just do the alternative, then send in a support ticket saying what name you really wanted but couldn't because of the system, and they should give it to you.

I tried to get the name "Sauvagess" on Warframe when it first came out, and ran into a similar issue. My name was blocked because it has "vag" in it, so I contacted support and they did it for me.

Just replace the o with a 0

There is currently a player named Charlotte. It's probably trying to pull that message, but it's pulling that message first
