I had the skin shard for brighthammer jayce, and had the essence needed to unlock it. Unlocked it, but after i continued through, the skin shard was still there, when i clicked on it, it didnt have the option to unlock the skin anymore, so i presumed it had glitched and had given me a second skin shard for free, but i dont have the jayce skin now? w a t ?

Send a support ticket. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

It'll be a couple days maybe if someone on the boards doesn't resolve it for you.
