So, I don't know if it's just me or what, but my chat isn't working outside of game, it is in game though. Ironically, the chat missing in champion select hasn't affected me negativley at all. Oddly enough, it has resulted in some pretty positive games. Everyone is sort of forced to pick around other people who have already picked. In addition, because there is no bitterness in champion select chat, nobody starts the game already angry.

yup same for me... once in game I can chat but not at champ select...makes filling roles rather hard and annoying outside of team builder
ya I've been having that to and when it does work, after a game my chat doesn't work so i can't talk to my team or even the enemy team after

Everyone is having this issue, you can tell its Riot by just looking at the boards. Do you see a single summoner icon?
