Just had a game where I couldn't see or interact with a game, but could hear everything that was going on, right down to them remaking. Task manager and alt tab couldn't find the game and restarting my client did nothing. Quite the fustrating bug, tbh.

Did you restart the comp? That would usually kill the back end process if you cannot find it in task manager. It's a long time and you're set back, but better than nothing.
