[GAMEPLAY] Disabling all-chat does not disable enemy mastery emotes.

I should not have to mute the entire enemy team every game if I have already opted out of all-chat.

I saw an enemy Ekko use his mastery emote today, and had to mute him so it didn't put me off my game.

Mastery Emote?

This is the first I've heard of that.

As you play champions in Summoner rift games you get mastery points for the champ you play. Once you get enough for rank 4 and 5(now soon to be 6 and 7) once you hit ctrl + f6 you make an icon appear above your head.

Muting the player disables it, not muting all chat.

Yes and it's a bug. Muting the players OR muting all chat should both disable it.

If I don't want to see their chat, why would I want to see their mastery emotes? The REASON I mute all-chat is so they don't influence my gameplay, Why should I have to click 5 buttons every game to opt-out?

Riot only said muting the player will disable the mastery emote. By your logic it should also mute their taunts.

If muting players also muted taunts, then yes, it should.

But muting players doesn't mute taunts, so it's a moot point.

Taunts are also less distracting and don't put a huge animation on the screen, and they can't be cast while attacking without interrupting your attack animation. If you're spam taunting it can get you killed. A mastery emote can't, because it doesn't interrupt your previous commands.
