Champ selection goes black.

Not sure what caused it be when I teamed up with a bunch of friends and we went into champ select my client when all black with me only able to select friends list, so i could not select a champ or anything and had to close client. First time i happened to me. Kinda afraid to play ranked if it ever happens again.
