[Gameplay] Hecarim not immune to CC during ultimate

Was standing beside two teammates as an Ashe arrow (ultimate) was coming towards us. As Hecarim, I ulted toward the arrow (and a couple enemies).

What should have happened: Arrow hits me as I'm ulting, I'm immune to CC so it does nothing, I land from my ult applying fear to the two enemies I land on and proceed with Ashe's arrow being wasted.

What actually happened: Arrow hits me as I'm ulting, I finish my dash from R, I land stunned, my two allies who were beside me when I pressed R were somehow stunned from the splash, and the fear from my ultimate wasn't applied to the two enemies I landed on.

I suppose it's possible there was something to do with ping or packet loss or something (i.e. my screen shows me ulting before the arrow hits but it actually hits before I ulted) but then I'm not so sure why my ultimate went on cooldown and I traveled the length of my ultimate before being stunned...

Nowhere does it state that while in his ult he is immune to cc.

I wrote that, but I look at the wiki page and it says that it does and now I'm confused and not sure which one is up to date so not saying anything lol

Leagues website and mobafire both say he is not immune to cc.

Oh really? I was going off of the wiki. Well then... that is, interesting.

EDIT: So, this is odd. I've looked at the patch history for Hecarim and there has never been anything changed w.r.t. his ultimate making him immune to CC or not. So why does the wiki say he's immune to CC? I've also found several older forums posts where players have complained their use of CC on Hecarim during his ultimate has failed, and they're responded to saying that Hecarim is immune to his CC during his ultimate.

It seems almost inevitable that at some point in time, Hecarim was immune to CC during the charge of his ultimate and this has been removed without Riot indicating it in the patch notes. It's the only logical reason why there would be so many sources in conflict as to whether he's supposed to have CC immunity or not. Would love a Rioter to confirm this though (whether it's a bug, unintentional change, he's never been immune to any CC, or whatever else may have happened to cause all of this confusion).
