Is Viktor's Ultimate not following stealth anymore?

I don't think Viktor's ultimate is still following stealth champions after they enter stealth anymore. I just played against a Talon and my ultimate kept stopping after he entered stealth from his ultimate. If anyone can help confirm this potential issue, that would be great - as someone who likes playing Viktor, I'm used to watching the ultimate give away the position of stealthed champions and using that to my advantage.
