Not getting anything for TF's lore thing

So yeah, I picked TF for act one and I played three ARAM games, getting over 10k gold for each of them and netting 49 total assists. So I go to check my progress and it still says I've done nothing for both tasks. Kind of annoyed considering I just wasted my time playing three aram games, a gamemode I'm not overly fond of.

Do I have to play TF in the ARAM games to get the rewards? Because if so that's never going to happen because I've got all the champs and my chances of getting TF are literally 1/126.

For both? What's supposed to happen is the first task is unlocked, and the second is unlocked once you complete the first. You don't have to use TF or Graves.
