Certain champion skins causing ping issues?

I played 9 games today. Games 1-8 I had almost no ping issues whatsoever. Maybe one game where my normal 33-45 ping spiked up to around 180.

Game 9? I randomly was getting ping spikes to 900-1000 ping at least a dozen times, and my ping spiked to over 5000 ping twice.

Literally same computer, exact same location, nothing else running. No one else in the house (so not someone else jumping on my internet connection). I obviously don't know for sure, but I figure it's got to be a champion skin or sound effect or something that caused my connection to freak out?
